Assessment Study of Tea Garden Model Schools in Assam (Uttam Xikhya Project) – The Hans Foundation, 2024
The study was conducted across 54 schools in the
Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, and Sonitpur districts to assess the educational
infrastructure, available resources, and teaching practices, highlighting key
strengths, challenges, and areas for enhancement. By using structured
interviews, direct observations, and secondary data, the assessment provided an
in-depth perspective on the current educational landscape within tea garden
schools. A systematic approach, including robust statistical analysis, ensured
reliable insights into emerging trends and specific needs, supporting an evidence-based
pathway for educational improvement.
