The "Truckers – The Backbone of Transportation Supply Chain" study, conducted by RTI International in 2023-2024, aimed to evaluate the working conditions and health status of truck drivers in India. The survey also explored their perspectives on health, wellness, and the available support mechanisms for driver healthcare. Using a cross-sectional study design and quantitative data collection, the survey covered 770 truck drivers in Delhi and Chennai. Field operations for the survey were supported by Iotalytics, ensuring comprehensive data collection.
