End line survey on Acceptability and effects of reusable sanitary napkins on menstruation management among adolescent school girls in Rajasthan  – Project Baala, 2021


The "Endline Survey on Acceptability and Effects of Reusable Sanitary Napkins on Menstruation Management among Adolescent School Girls in Rajasthan," conducted in 2021 in partnership with the Ecdessha Foundation, evaluated the impact of promoting and distributing reusable sanitary napkins. The study also included menstrual hygiene workshops for adolescent school girls. Using a quasi-experimental design, the study surveyed 606 participants across three study arms and conducted qualitative interviews with 20 girls to assess adaptability and acceptance of reusable napkins. The research focused on changes in knowledge, attitudes, and practices related to menstruation management. Iotalytics supported technical aspects and data management.
